Located in Alserkal Avenue, the iconic cultural community in Dubai, the design embodies a duality between the softness of the brand, and the industrial look of its context.

Focusing on translating the geometric and artistic approach into the physical world, the space becomes an unravelling experience of movement through architectural curves simulating the organic process of chocolate making. The design becomes an amalgamation of flow, layering and leveling.

Studio Baab focused on creating a specific color palette to the space while extracting inspiration from chocolate.

As one enters, an enclosed yet welcoming entrance pulls you into an experiential journey, flowing into different niches of various contrasts and hues of the rich chocolate layering, and gradating from a rough to a softer texture. The journey then unwraps into a vast open ceiling of different volumes. Different moments of interaction between the user and the space take place, where the retail, café, and factory functions blend together to create a cluster of encounters allowing one to indulge in a holistic experience.
